“One generation shall commend your works to another, & shall declare your mighty acts.” — Psalm 145:4
Our desire is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children. We look to provide curriculum and resources that center on the gospel and teach children God’s character and salvation revealed in Scripture.
Our children’s ministry uses “The Gospel Story” curriculum written by Marty Machowski, which helps children understand that the Bible is one story with Jesus as the hero. Each week our children are taught the same Bible stories at three different learning levels (preschool-5th grade). Parents can then build on the lesson at home through scripture memory, a devotional, and storybook bible that corresponds to the lesson from Sunday.
Safety is also a top priority for CG Kids. All children’s ministry workers submit to a thorough background check and every family is registered with a number so that each child can be carefully matched with a parent on the way in and out of the program each week.

We offer children’s ministry classes—newborn through fifth grade—on Sunday mornings. Simply arrive 10 minutes early for our Sunday service (which begins at 10am) and we can get your children registered and checked in, and answer any questions you may have. Our Lower Elementary through Upper Elementary classes spend the worship in song portion in the big service with their parents, then we dismiss them to their appropriate classrooms.
